![]() I would think that Plex enables users to take their external USB flash drives, and connect them to a new or reflashed device (think of us all when Nvidia finally brings out a new Shield Pro), and with moderate skill, allow the Plex Media Server to connect. Twice I've made this work in the past, but this time it is just escaping me. I made a clean copy of my whole working USB data files from Dec 2021 on a clean USB flash drive. I installed a version of Plex Media Server from Feb 2022. After many tries, I assumed it was corrupted somehow. ![]() Last week we had a bunch of power cuts at home, and the Plex server lost it's connection to the data. The last time was after the 9.0 fiasco - I reinstalled 8.2.3, and got the USB to work. Twice over the last 3 years, I have managed to reinstall my USB Plex database to my Shield Pro Plex server.
